Do I . . . immediately feel at home with Christians of any class or nationality—more at home with them than with non-Christians of my own nation and class? Should I in a casual encounter of a few hours . . . find the Christians unhesitatingly discovering one another and plunged into animated discussion of their common interests and experiences? Am I sure that they are organized by a discipline which, overriding all conflicting considerations will, when a crisis occurs, make them toe the line as one man?
