Chapter Fourteen
“What are we going to do with her?” Gabriel growls just outside of my door.
“I don’t know, Gabriel, she wasn’t herself. Your saw her after she attacked Marcus. She would never have hurt anyone if she was herself.” Michael defends me.
I groan and tug slightly at the chains binding my hands and feet to the four posts of my bed.
“Don’t even try it, Piper.” Logan grunts as he sits down on the edge of the bed to check the chains.
“I wasn’t going to.” I sigh.
“What happened to you?” He then whispers as he pushes a strand of my hair behind my ear.
“I lost it. Marcus took me from the club and brought me here. He tried to force me…” I trail off. “He wanted to make me his.” I whisper as I close my eyes.
“You attacked him first?” He pushes.
I nod. “Yes, I wanted to kill him. He killed the one person I loved and I wanted revenge.” I answer honestly.
He sighs roughly as he rubs the back of his neck. “I’m sorry for being so harsh with you before. It just made me angry that you seemed so willing to kill a human especially after everything we talked about.”
“I never would have done that under normal circumstances.” I reply. “I was just upset to see my brother happy with Selena. I miss what I had with Mason.”
Logan nods and then sighs. “I don’t know what they’re going to do with you.”
“I’ll deserve whatever they do.” I whisper.
“No, you won’t. I’ve done far worse things than what you did.” Logan argues lightly.
“Do you think you could take me to see Selena? I need to tell her that I’m sorry.” I plead softly.
“I don’t think they would like that very much, Piper.” He sighs.
“Keep me tied up then.” I insist.
He nods once before moving to unchain my feet. He quickly pushes them together before wrapping the chains back around my ankles.
Moving up to my hands he hovers over me for a moment as he stares into my eyes.
“I’ll take care of you, Piper. If that’s what it takes I will keep everyone else safe from you and you safe from them.” He promises.
With that promise he gently releases my arms before wrapping the chains around them to keep me bound.
There wasn’t a thing I could do now.
Lifting me into his arms Logan carries me to my door before opening it skillfully before walking between a stunned Gabriel and Michael.
“Where are you taking her?” Michael demands as he follows us down the hallway.
Without saying a word Logan walks me directly into the room where the others were standing around Selena who was lying in the middle of my mom’s bed.
“What the hell, Logan?” Cam growls out as he stands to his feet.
“She wants to tell Selena that she’s sorry. She should be able to ask for forgiveness.” Logan grunts simply.
Kneeling down next to the bed Logan holds me where I could see Selena and she could see me.
I smile softly as I reach my bound hands over to her.
