The main confounder arising from these results is that both expert teams and random performances would be at the top of the curve, indicating that additional team measures would be needed to distinguish very high and very low performance during single-trial exercises. To provide quantitative estimates of team states in the context of teamwork, this would require linking entropy with other team model components, behavioral markers, and associated measurement methods, such as Latent Semantic Analysis-derived speech variables (Gorman et al., 2016).
