Myoplex Meal Replacement Bars (or similar no-cook rations)

These are packed with 350 calories, 30g protein and 35 carbs along with tasting superb. One bar will provide me with enough fuel for several hours and I have lived on such rations for up to 60 hours on survival courses with the military. What’s not to like about something that tastes like chocolate cake. When I’m on the road, I carry six of these in the glove box of my truck in addition to my other emergency foods.

My advice is to try out a half-dozen meal replacement bars and see what works for you before an emergency crops up. Most of these can be found at big-box grocery stores in the supplement aisle.
