Again, there is little doubt that when techniques that are relative to trend development are applied, regardless of whether they are price or volume based, an improvement in consistency is achieved. There have been positive changes to all facets of the volume channel, because the parameters have been adapted to coincide with general trend development. Keeping in mind that the entry and exit signals are solely reliant on volume behaviour, it brings into question comments made by some that volume doesn’t count, especially in the Australian market due to the low level of liquidity. While it may not be the key to trading riches, another major piece of the trading puzzle has just slotted into place.
