Joe Bugner held Muhammad Ali to points for the second time in his career after going 15 rounds with the world heavyweight champion in the searing heat of Kuala Lumpur. But European champion Bugner, who also drew with Ali over 12 rounds in Las Vegas in 1973, was criticised for an over-cautious performance after Ali comfortably won on points. Born in Hungary in 1950, Bugner moved to Britain with his family in 1957 and beat the popular Henry Cooper aged just 21. That win did not endear Bugner to the British public and he later moved to Australia.
