16. Fruit Ice Candy
What's better than a refreshing ice candy on a hot summer day? Well, here I bring to you a simple, hassle-free, and fresh recipe for making ice candies. The perks? It is homemade with fresh fruits, no added preservatives or concentrates. Absolutely healthy and refreshing for the summer days. Surely, every person in your home is going to love these.
Ingredients
Strawberry (chopped): 1 cup
Mango (chopped): 1 cup
Serving Size: 5
Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Instructions
1. Puree the mangoes in a mixer or food processor.
2. Make sure there are no clumps.
3. Sieve the puree, if clumps remain.
4. Pour the puree into the popsicle molds filling till half of its volume.
5. Puree the strawberries in the mixer or food processor.
6. Fill the rest of the mold with the strawberry puree.
7. Insert popsicle sticks or put on the covers that come with the molds.
8. Freeze them in the deep freezer for about 6 to 7 hours, or until set.
9. Once set, take them out of the freezer and serve immediately.
You can always experiment with fruits of your choice and make different combinations.
