Chapter 5
The next interaction between the two came over a week later. Jane and Ashley had kept in constant contact through text message and had even gone jogging one time through the neighborhood, but hadn’t gotten a good chance to really spend time together. The next weekend Able Vickers’ company was throwing a dinner where the most important financiers and stockholders would be attending. Jane’s mother and father were invited as well because of their new business venture, and Jane looked forward to seeing Ashley.
The dinner was in the grand hall of the Presidential Hotel. Ashley approached Jane as soon as she and her parents entered the building. They greeted each other with a hug and a kiss on the cheek, and walked together to a corner of the ballroom. Jane couldn’t help but notice Ashley’s breasts that were hardly covered by the skimpy black lace ball gown, and she tried hard not to stare at them while they began to talk.
“That’s an amazing dress,” stated Jane, her eyes big and glancing over her friend.
Ashley laughed, knowing Jane’s affliction, “Thank you. You look beautiful in yours, let me see the whole thing, turn around.” She lifted Jane’s hand above her head and motioned for her to spin around so that she could study the navy blue dress with microscopic cubic zirconia sprinkled over the bodice. “Damn, Jane. That’s nice.” Jane had a hint that it was more of a compliment to her figure than the dress itself, but she didn’t mind.
While Jane stood there talking to Ashley she tried to will her heart rate down but it stayed high, beating deep throughout her veins. Ashley turned her on and all she really wanted to do was take her into one of the empty side rooms and have sex with her. What stopped her from doing just that was the fact that they were at an important dinner for both of their parents, and if it came out that the daughters of two of the most prestigious guests in the hotel were caught having sex in a room; it would be a scandal. As they continued to converse and other people joined their conversation, the desire inside Jane grew and based on the looks that Ashley was giving her, hers was growing in sync.
Finally, after about twenty minutes of standing next to Ashley and watching beads of sweat drip into her cleavage, Jane had to pull away. She walked about twenty yards before being stopped by one of the men that had become a recent client of the firm and they began to talk. Jane positioned herself so that she could still she Ashley, and she continued to do so for the next few hours. No matter where they went in the large room and no matter who they were speaking with, the two kept each other in their sights. They continuously exchanged glances but kept their distance so as not to arouse suspicion, or for the more desperate reason, so as to not tempt themselves.
