You can use this technique to finish what is unfinished

It can be very moving to use this technique with the deceased. People enjoy using this technique to say hello or to say their "good-byes"-to finish what was unfinished. The deceased often communicate in return, too. A student using this technique with her father was delighted to find that he was off on a new adventure. She said, "Hi Dad," and her father's God of the Heart replied, "I don't want to be Dad anymore." Then he turned into a young boy and related to her from that identity. Her father was in a period of time when he was exploring and learning about inner levels, and about the fuller and more complex nature of identity there.

You may explore the potential of this exercise to simply say hello to someone, or to assist in the evolution of challenging relationships. As you address your difficult relationships, remember that, often (maybe even usually), the most powerful healing technique you can use to heal people close to you is to figure out what they reflect in you, then heal that issue in yourself.
