Opening his eyes, he glanced at Tiernan. Tiernan’s eyes were on his tablet, like he was thinking about those other swimmers again.

“I should get going,” he said finally, adjusting his jeans and frowning at the wet spot on the front.

“Hey,” Tiernan said as Nik stood, zipping up his jeans and slipping his shoes back on. “I don’t know what I’m doing either.”

Nik smiled after a second, grabbing his jacket off the couch. “I’ll see you later.”

“Don’t listen to Dylan, okay? He hates not getting all the glory.”
