Well, Cora you’re still susceptible to the powers of Dayven. Shit.

Sex with Day was never the problem. It was always a strong point between us. I could forget anything when he was making love to me but that wasn’t any way to build a life.

I got up from the bed doing my best not to look at Day. I failed of course and his smiling face even while he was asleep was enough to make me want to forget about putting distance between us. All I wanted to do was get back in bed and snuggle up in his arms.

Only, I knew if I did that, we’d end up having sex again. If I wasn’t careful, I was going to mistake lust for love again and the cost was just too great.

I ran a bath to help with my body aches and spent the time in the sparkly sudsy water thinking of how Day and I could build on what he had. And, I was thinking about how many times he’d made love to me through the night. Not that I kept count. It was like one long endless lovemaking session.

We slept in between at some points but when I woke up again he was already inside of me again and it felt more like I’d only blinked.

Thinking of all the things he’d said, how he’d felt, what he’d made me feel… I was almost tempted to ease the growing desire I was beginning to feel myself but then Day came into the bathroom as if my aching for him had magically summoned him into the bathroom.

“I made you breakfast,” he said shielding his eyes.

“Thanks. You know you and I just had a lot of sex, right?” I asked on a laugh.

He smiled that sexy grin of his. “And if I see you in that tub I’ll dive in and your breakfast will be cold.”

“Oh, I see,” I said resisting the urge to pull him into the tub with me. “I’ll be out in just a sec.”

“Damn it’s fucking hard not to look at you in the tub.”

I reached for the towel coming partially out of the hot soapy water to get hold of it and caught him peeking at me. “Dayven!” I laughed bringing the towel to my chest.

“I want to lick all the water from your skin,” he groaned. “You better dry off quick before I start.”

I stepped out of the tub and wrapped myself in the towel. “It’s soapy water, it’ll taste awful.”

“Let’s test just to be sure,” he said turning toward me as I tried to push him from the bathroom. Day ran his tongue over my shoulder and into the curve of my neck. “Soapy but so fucking worth it,” he said nibbling at my skin.

“You’re so hungry you’re biting me,” I breathed sounding just as turned on as I felt which was a whole lot.

“If I wasn’t worried about you catching a chill and getting sick, I would eat the towel off of you just to see your breasts again.
