What to Drink
Drinking ‘still’ water is fine, but you may find that you need to have a little extra in it. Drinking too much water and not eating enough seems to wash out the salts from the body and may leave you feeling nauseous. So it is a good idea either to eat a small amount between drinks, or take drinks with a little sugar and salt in to help replace the lost minerals. These drinks can either be bought ones, such as Lucozade Sport and the like, or made up. It is usually beneficial to add a little flavour to the water as this will tend to encourage you to drink more than if it was just water.
