Ava didn’t know what she was expecting.

But it beat her wildest dreams.

It was more than a kiss. It was a promise, a sinful threat.

He pushed her back against the wall and the kiss intensified.

She uttered a helpless sound as he peeled off her underwear.

His kiss became greedier, more ferocious. His hand slid down and found the part of her that was throbbing like crazy.

Her knees almost gave way.

But Dash held her up.

She heard the clatter of metal.

Was that his belt buckle?

“I thought you were going to...” Ava broke off as he pressed himself against her. “Oh God,” she whispered.

He grasped a fistful of her hair and kissed her again. Hungry this time, dark and wild.

“Ava...” He purred the word near her ear and bit her neck playfully.

“But you’re... injured,” she managed to say before her feelings finally swept her away.

“I’ve never felt so good.” He reached behind her knees and lifted her up against the wall, pressing himself against her.

Damn, how can anyone seriously be expected to resist something like this? she thought.

She slung her arms around his neck and kissed him.

If the world had ended at exactly that moment, she wouldn’t have cared.
