Chapter 10

Dakk savored the taste and scent of Macy’s femininity. She shuddered and cried out, and he felt her insides contracting around his fingers. Satisfaction rushed over him, knowing he’d brought her to the heights of pleasure, this sweet little golden-haired beauty who was about to become his mate.

A lone tear cascaded down her cheek, and Dakk was quick to wipe it away. He cupped the side of her face in one hand, ready to catch any further tears. From this day forward, her tears were his to catch, both those borne of joy and sorrow.

She inhaled a trembling breath. “Upon this mating, I am yours and you are mine. May the Star God bless our union,” she finally finished. “Is-is that the whole thing?”
