Collectivist policies always build a house of cards. The only question is how long it will stand. As we saw with the Soviet Union, it can take decades of immeasurable human suffering before such a house topples. Failure rarely induces humility in collectivists, nor does it weaken their desire to impose on us what they believe is best for us—but is ultimately best for them.

To conceal their intentions, collectivists hide their goals behind innocuous or moralistic-sounding labels—stakeholder capitalism and ESG being prominent examples. So as elites gain power, the most effective weapon against them is public awareness.
