“So tell me what happened this morning,” Taffy said.

As I told Taffy the story about Gobo, I was careful to watch for other fairies. I didn’t want anyone else to hear about him.

“This is so exciting,” Taffy said. “I’ve never met a troll!”

“I know,” I said. “Will you come with me after school to check on him?”

“Sure as sugar!” Taffy said.

Just then I saw Prince Frosting fly by.

“What is happening after school?” he asked.

I wasn’t sure how much he had heard.

The bells in the tall sugar tower rang, and we all headed back into class.

“Oh, Mini.” Taffy sighed. “We will have to be very careful. We don’t want the whole class knowing about this.”

“You’re right,” I agreed. “We’ll have to make sure that no one follows us after school.”

We flew back to the classroom. I wondered what Prince Frosting had heard. And what he would do if he learned about Gobo.
