I actually like TJ Maxx. They have good soaps. There’s a

TJ Maxx in the same plaza as the supermarket where Holly and I shop. Sometimes she suggests popping in to have a quick look and I sigh and say, “Oh, okay then,” but really I’m quite pleased. While Holly browses, I head straight to the soaps and give each a good sniff. By the time Holly’s done, with a trolley full of cushions, photo frames and designer dog toys, I’ll usually have thirty soaps in a ‘we’re definitely getting these’ pile and another ten or fifteen in a ‘smell this, what do you think?’ pile. There’s a third pile but that’s just a ‘I don’t want this but check out the packaging’ stack. We have an entire cupboard full of soaps at home. Sometimes I stand in front of it and open and close the door really fast several times so I’m fanned by the combined scents.
