Chapter Twenty-One

Joe

I drink the remainder of my whisky as I watch Nessa talk animatedly to Zara. Our dinner was amazing, and I can see this club is going to do very well. My sister is showing Nessa round the club before we head off to the hotel I've booked for the night. It's a surprise for her and I hope she likes it and doesn't think I'm being too presumptuous. I want her to have a lovely night and I thought we could both do with a change of scenery. She doesn’t leave the estate much because she never has any need to.

As they make their way back towards me, Nessa smiles at me.

“Hey, Zara said you can bring me here any time you like.”

“Did she now?” I say narrowing my eyes at my sister. “Only if it's a freebie.”

“I'm running a business big man, not a charity.” She punches my arm.

“So, I have a confession,” I say smiling at Nessa.

“Am I going to like this?”

“That depends. I thought we might stay in Glasgow tonight if that's okay with you.”

“Well it would have been if you'd told me before now. I don't have any clean clothes with me. I am not walking around Glasgow in this thing in the morning.” She gestures to her outfit which I have to say has been distracting me the whole night.

“Don't worry, I’ve got it covered.”

“Okay, where are we staying tonight then?”

“Blythswood Square.”

“Nice. That place looks amazing.”

“The Penthouse,” I say with a cheeky smile.

“Well this night just got interesting.”

“Guys, I have to go and start getting this place cleared up for tomorrow's dinner. Thanks so much for coming and I'll look forward to seeing you both again. Maybe Joe will bring you along for a night at Crush. It's very popular with couples. Bye you two, have a great night.” Zara walks away laughing to herself.

I turn back to Nessa who's sniggering at me. “You should see your face.”

“I take it she told you about the strip club then?”

“No, I asked her about it. I'm intrigued.”

“God, what have I done?”

Nessa slaps my arm. “Stop that. Are we ready to go?”

“Yeah.” I stand and grab her around the waist, pulling her in close to me. “You're driving me crazy in that outfit by the way,” I whisper in her ear.

She turns her head and whispers back, “You should see what's under it.” And fuck me if my dick doesn't wake right on up.
