CHAPTER TWELVE
In the afternoon, we moved to the couch with the laptop to start our favorite TV series and movie marathon. We began with 'Naked Gun' to lighten the mood. I've always loved the absurd sense of humor that Leslie Nielsen brought to his movies.
Then I suggested watching 'Cloud Atlas', one of my all-time favorite films.
During the scene where the gay character played by Ben Whishaw commits suicide, I couldn't help it, I felt my eyes well up a bit, and at that moment, Josiah leaned closer to me, embracing me tighter.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to get so emotional, but it always gets to me," I muttered.
He didn't say anything, just turned his face toward mine. I gazed at him for a moment, into his large, light-copper eyes. Then I looked down at his soft, pink lips, which were slightly parted.
There was something captivating about his faceâa unique blend of innocence sweetness and sensual intensity. And I vibed so fucking much with this peculiar, dual nature of Josiah! Sensations overwhelmed me, and emotions tightened my throat.
Slowly, I leaned down and kissed him lightly. The taste of his lips was dazzling, his scent enticing. I put my hands on either side of his face, and we kissed, lost in each other, forgetting the whole world. Then I felt something pressing against my stomach, a proof of his arousal, a proof that Josiah wanted me, and my first reaction was a well-known wave of confusion, but it was overwhelmed by another wave, as my own arousal rose wildly and uncontrollablyâand also impossibly quicklyâsnapping me out of the trance in the process.
With some shock, I realized I also had an erection.
Letting out a sigh, I glanced down and immediately released Josiah from my embrace. I straightened up before returning to my seat in a hurry, feeling woozy. Wow, why was this so intense? Had I just literally made out with him without even fully realizing it? Confusion buzzed within me.
Swallowing with some difficulty, I darted a gaze at him. Josiah's lips were swollen from my kisses, and he was still half-lying on the armrest of the sofa, his eyelids lowered a bit. In the silence, I shifted my gaze to his crotch, with a rather obvious bulge there.
And there was something else. I could almost feel his confusion, mirroring my own. We were both lost as to what to do next. Should we continue? Should we stop? The uncertainty bit at my lip, the
