Chapter 14

Chase

PULLING INTO MY DRIVEWAY, I look over at the beautiful man sitting next to me. His blue eyes are red-rimmed and swollen, and it pains my heart. His sister is out of the woods for the most part, but until she actually wakes up, I know Landon is going to be a wreck.

Killing the engine, we both climb from my car and head inside. After I shut and lock the door behind me, I turn to Landon and gently kiss him, unsure of where to go from here.

When I finally spoke to Gray and he told me about Aubrey, I was on my way to the hospital. All his message said was there was a family emergency, but he filled me in on the way there. I knew in that moment that Landon needed me. It’s been three fucking months without this man, and I refuse to go another day without him. I knew when he finally pushed me away that it was just his insecurities, but I didn’t want to be with someone who couldn’t trust in me and how I felt for him. I love Landon Stevens, and I won’t stop.

He pulls away, resting his hands on my face. I hold them, smiling at him.

“Chase?”

“Yeah, babe?”

He bites his bottom lip and looks away for a moment. Before I can ask what’s wrong, he turns back to me with tears in his eyes. “Will you make love to me?”

“What?”

“I just need to feel like myself. I’ve missed you so much, and I need you. I shouldn’t have pushed you away, so I’ll understand if you don’t want me anymore. I have no idea what’s going to happen with us, but I want to forget about all our problems. Please, Chase?”

I don’t answer, just turn and drag him with me to my bedroom. Kicking the door shut, I back him up to my bed, gently pushing him onto it. Landon yanks his shirt over his head and scrambles out of his pants while I do the same. In minutes, we’re both tangled together on the bed, our hard cocks nestled together, wet with our precum. I move us so I’m on top of him, his hips cradling my own. Looking down at him, his eyes half-lidded with desire, I kiss his neck, causing a groan to tear from his lips.

“Fuck, Chase. I need you in me so badly.”

Reaching over to the bedside table, I grab the small bottle of lube and slick up my fingers, working him open until he’s panting and begging for me to take him. Grabbing a condom, I get myself prepared and rest on top of him once more. And in that moment, when I finally slide into him, we both groan loudly and my eyes well up with emotion.

“You feel so incredible, Land. So hot and tight.” We’re both so fucking on edge I know it’s not going to take long. Instead of riding him hard and fast, I use slow strokes, making sure to angle my hips just right every time.
