Knowing the man was still there but not hearing a sound, Taylor turned his back to the wall and waited in silence. After a few moments had passed, the man cleared his throat desperately trying to detatch whatever flem was lodged inside. Taylor pressed his cheek firmly against the cement floor and stared through the crack. The man finally bent over, laid down on his stomach and brought his eyes up to the crack and spoke. After talking back and forth for some while the man knew that Taylor was not going to do well in here. He knew that if Taylor was to stay here he would only be another suicide on the other side of that wall and he was not about to let that happen again. "I've seen a lot of people come through here," he began telling me again, starting over from where he had left off from before and probably not remembering that he had already said it. "I've seen murderers, rapists, thieves, embezzlers, drug dealers. You name it, I've seen it, probably more than you could even imagine. I've seen it all," he continued. "I've seen all types of bad that exists in the world and let me tell you something," he said. His voice trembled a little obviously holding back his emotions, not wanting me to see that my story troubled him. A few moments passed before he began again, obviously forcing the words out. "You are not one of them," he said.
