Chapter Nine

I was quite surprised when Tom returned after lunch. There was I, sitting in the garden in my bikini reading a magazine when he came sneaking through the hedge like a naughty schoolboy stealing into an orchard. Praying that he'd decided to take me up on my adulterous offer, I patted the lawn and invited him to join me.

"Can't stay long," he said guiltily, sitting beside me. "Sandy thinks I'm working upstairs. Anyway, I'm free this evening, if your offer of a drink still stands, that is?"

Sandy thought he was working - the lies began.

"Yes, of course it does," I enthused, noticing his eyes on my bikini bulging between the tops of my thighs.

"Good, I'll bring some gin - you do like gin, don't you?"

"Gin turns me on, you'll be pleased to hear. It's the Juniper berries," I giggled mischievously, sitting cross-legged, the thin strip of bikini material too narrow to conceal my swelling pussy lips. "What time will you be round?"

"Sandy leaves at six-thirty so, is seven okay?"

"Fine. What time does she get in?"

"After the pub closes and she's cleared up - about midnight."

"Good, we'll have plenty of time for some fun."

"Right, I'd better get back. See you later, then."

"Yes, I'll look forward to it, Tom."

Watching him creep through the hedge, I grinned. This game was too easy - ridiculously easy. I felt that all I had to do was knock on every door and wave my magic pussy, and every marriage in the land would fall. Cunt-power.

Relaxing in the garden, I gave some serious thought to Jim and that bitch, Wendy Dixon. If Jim was still screwing her, he'd have no idea that I knew, let alone planned to wreck his relationship with her - and her marriage. It was time to make a move.

Wandering into the house, I grabbed the phone book and looked up Wendy's number. She was in, fortunately, and, to start up the conversation, I began by telling her that I'd left my part-time job at the library.

"I'd wondered where you'd got to," she remarked.

"Still changing your books every week?" I asked.

"Yes, I am. Anyway, how are you?"

"Fine, and you?"

"Yes, I'm all right. My husband's away for a while, so I'm rather bored. I've got my books, but I do get lonely in this big house."

"Yes, you must do. Listen, why not come round for a drink one evening?"

"I'd love to. When?"

"Tomorrow evening?"

"All right, that will be nice."

"You know my address, don't you?"

"Yes, I do. I'll see you tomorrow, then."

"Okay, Wendy. It'll be nice to see you again - take care."

She was a right bitch. I'd never given her my address - how the hell did she know it? Jim had probably screwed her in our bed while I was working at the library during the mornings. And why hadn't she mentioned my divorce? Surely, Jim would have told her? Unless he was living a massive lie.

Bastard.
