Philippa C. Maddern's first SF story appeared in The Altered I. While working towards a degree in history at the University of Melbourne, Australia, she made time to write occasional stories of a singular and visionary power. Her subsequent occupation of tutoring allows for more time at the typewriter; a novel is on the way.
