Mack stopped into town to go by the supermarket. He said he would take care of dinner tonight because Daniel and Mosely were working and L.T. wasn’t due back until later. He pulled into a spot and kept his sunglasses on. He really loved this town and the whole way it was decorated with spring flowers and seemed so normal and untouched by the type of violence and case he just finished up. Casper had its share of some situations, but nothing so extreme and usually the culprit or culprits were captured quickly. It was a close-knit town, and because of the case he really felt out of the loop. Plus he missed the opening event with the outdoor concert too.

He grabbed a cart and planned on getting through this quickly. He nodded at a few women he knew or wives of friends of his he grew up with. Saw some kids helping their parents and then made his way to the meat section, but had to go through the pasta and canned tomatoes first. He spotted a woman in baggy joggers that hung off her hips and a light green T-shirt. As she stood up using an aluminum foil box to try and get a package of pasta on the top shelf, more skin on her flat belly was exposed as well as a belly ring. Her ass was perfect, her hair long and brown and when she went to step onto the bottom shelf he jumped in to assist.

“I wouldn’t do that, miss,” he said and she gasped, turned around, making the aluminum foil box knock off several other boxes of pasta as he scared her. He locked on to gorgeous emerald green eyes and her jaw dropped as if she found him as good looking as he found her, or at least he hoped that was what her expression was all about.

“Oh my God, I was trying to get those boxes,” she said and bent down to pick up the ones she knocked over and he caught a glimpse of one hell of a deep cleavage to full, large breasts through the small dip in her top. He bent down to help her grab the boxes and he smelled fresh soap, some kind of delicious shampoo that made him inhale again and again.

“I can help you since I’m taller. I wouldn’t want you to break your pretty little neck,” he said and she locked on to his eyes. His were baby blue and he was told they stood out and were definitely attractive.

“I guess I should have tried to get a store clerk but the lines are crazy right now and I think they called out all hands on deck just a few minutes ago.” She stood up with the boxes and placed them on the shelf and he thought she was gorgeous, sexy, feminine and his heart raced and his gut clenched. Immediately he thought of his brothers and if they knew her or met her and then he remembered the woman they had met.
