They arrived at the bank and Michael and Joe got out of the car. He followed Michael inside and up to the teller’s window. Michael told the woman at the window he wanted to close out his account. When the woman looked at the account, she turned red, cleared her throat and excused herself for a moment. A few minutes later she came back with the Manager. He also looked flustered asking if there was something wrong.

Michael explained that he found a different bank, offering him more for being a customer. As the teller counted out Michael’s money, Joe could tell that the Manager wasn’t too pleased about losing Michael’s business. And as she kept counting money, he knew why. The money filled the briefcase Michael had brought in with him.
