One hundred kilometers from the main island of Malé, my private island Tesoro was brilliant to see as we coasted along in the seaplane to reach the shore. Domino and Tamatha stared as we grew closer. I paid millions of dollars to the local government to make this place mine for a hundred years. More money would help it extend to my future generations. For all intents and purposes, I owned a piece of the world. I loved coming home. On this island, I had everything I wanted, including an easily defensible home and miles of sea to make someone disappear if they ever thought to test the theory.

But it wasn’t the panoramic windows and pristine white sand that kept my attention. No, it was the vixen of my unrequited dreams who had one arm wrapped around her son’s shoulders. She laughed with him as she pointed out the window. My gaze stayed on her as we disembarked on my island, and she oohed and aahed with Domino. My dick was rock-solid in my slacks, and I wanted her to race into the trees just so I could chase her, pin her down in the foliage, and fuck her until she couldn’t walk for days.

“This is beautiful,” she said.

“It is.” My voice was barely above a growl, and Tamatha looked over her shoulder at me. I didn’t even attempt to hide my need. She belonged to me, and I wanted her to know it.

Her throat worked as she swallowed, and she blinked before herding Domino away. It didn’t matter. It was already evening again. We’d eat, spend a bit of time talking, and then I’d have her.

“Quill is requesting a video conference,” Nathan said as he approached behind me. I clenched my jaw. I didn’t ignore Quill.

“Tell him I’ll be with him in fifteen minutes. Rene,” I called, and she stopped from getting luggage from the plane.

“Yes?”

“Get them settled and fed. Put Tamatha in the master suite, and Domino can pick his room.”

“I—” Tamatha began.

“I can have my own room?” Domino interrupted, jumping up and down.

“Of course. This is your home, and your mother has agreed to marry me, so this will be yours one day. The whole island.”

“Mommy, I’ve got an island!”

Domino’s infectious smile flittered across Rene’s face, but Tamatha looked ready to stab me. I grinned, a fucking Cheshire cat happy to disappear.

“I’ll see you later tonight,” I promised.

Rene swept them off, and I entered the main foyer of my home, only stopping long enough to kick off my shoes and switch to my house shoes before continuing past the formal room, dining hall, and into my study. The central location of the office, surrounded by one-way mirrors, allowed me to see everything happening in my home but nothing from the outside. There, I linked my computer to the secure line I held open for ring holders and connected with Quill’s signature.
