No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, “And they shall all be taught by God.” Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me. (John 6:44–45)

In our modern-day methodology, we have been wrongly taught that we are to approach a lost person, present a propositional statement, and ask the person to confess his faith by repeating a formulaic prayer after us—and then we pronounce him to be a Christian. In this chapter, we see how Dawit allowed the Father to draw people unto Himself and teach them from His Word about Jesus His Son. It is vitally important that we follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and allow the Father in heaven to do His work in the hearts of men. We see it first with Dawit working with Guma, and later with Guma working with Quadir.
