Chapter Six

Nick had agreed to talk to the psychiatrist that Connor had suggested, and though he hated to admit it, he was probably right about his seeing someone to help with his need to cut. It had become painfully—no pun intended--obvious that he was not going to be able to fight these urges alone, so on Monday morning, he did as Connor told him and reached for his phone to call Cooper and let him know that he’d be late going in. Having gotten that out of the way, he went in to draw Connor’s bath, feeling like a damn slave in an old Hollywood movie. Draw his bath, indeed. Bullshit.

Connor had kept him hard and aching all day the day before and when bedtime came, he’d been stiff and leaking pre-cum as he walked around locking up for Connor and getting a drink of water. Connor surprised Nick by standing by the bed waiting for him, decked out in his leathers. He’d held a wicked looking flogger in his hand, and had ordered him to lean against the footboard while he worked him over. Turning the water off and laying out a towel, he heard Connor walking into the bedroom. “Nick, did you hear me? The coffee’s ready and I put some frozen biscuits in the oven. Leave the bath for now, baby, and we’ll warm it up after breakfast.”

He wasn’t wearing his collar, so he answered him normally. “I’ll be right there. I’m starving to death this morning.” Smiling to himself, he thought it was probably due to the mind-numbing orgasms he’d had.

When Nick came out of the bathroom Connor had already gone back to the kitchen. He realized that once again he would be eating his breakfast wrapped in a towel. He and Connor were going to have to have a chat about that, and he needed his clothes ASAP, but right now the smell of coffee and bacon were so compelling that he would have walked in there completely naked if he’d had to.

“Damn, Connor, that smells good.”

He turned and smiled at him. “I’m not a cook, but I can do frozen biscuits. Pour yourself a cup of coffee and sit down.”

As Nick poured his coffee, he looked over at Connor and said, “I can’t go to the doctor dressed like this, you know, and I sure as hell can’t wear my leather pants and boots.”

“I know. I thought that you could wear them to your condo though and pick up some clothes there. I’ll take you there as soon as we finish eating.”

“You don’t have to take me. I’m perfectly capable of getting myself home and to the doctor, you know. I can take a cab.”

“No. You need a suitcase too and it’ll be easier in my car. As I’ve already explained, you are going to be staying with me for a while.
