Starting position and action

• Sit on the edge of a bench with your legs outstretched but slightly bent, and your feet on the stability ball.

• Keep your fingers pointing forwards and your hands slightly wider than shoulder width apart.

• Brace your abdominals to assist with your balance, and lift yourself so that your body weight is supported through your arms.

• Bend your arms, lowering your body towards the floor to achieve a 90-degree angle at the elbows.

• Straighten your arms to return to the start position, repeating 8–15 times.
