"Bagel?" Matt's eyebrows rose.

"Yeah, baking them makes me feel safe, so I

thought… is it really stupid?" He had no clue how to pick a

good safe word, other than what he'd read about it needing

to be distinctive, something you wouldn't normally say

"No, it's not stupid at all. I was just surprised." Matt

grinned. "I like it."

"Yeah?" It made him feel a lot better. God, he really

was pathetic, to need praise and approval so badly.

"Yeah."

"So, what's your safe word?" He smiled at Matt's

shocked expression. "Well it's only fair, right? If we're both

going to experiment, and I do something you don't like, you

have to be able to tell me."

"True." Matt chuckled. "I think I'll go for elephant."

"Do I want to know why?" It was his turn to raise

his eyebrows.

"It's just that an elephant is really hard to ignore."

Matt winked.

"I swear, that's the oddest reason, but I'm sure as

hell going to stop whatever I'm doing when you say it."
