Actually, there are a number of good reasons, including stable weather during the summer, forested beaches, the highest concentration of bald eagles in the Lower 48, sea otters, and, oh, no roads on any of the islands so no cars, thus, you can easily find solitude. And orcas (as previously mentioned) that you can view from water level.
