Cora was only slightly startled when she woke up in her spare bedroom, alone. She stretched her naked body and marveled at how relaxed and loose her muscles felt and buried her giddy grin in the pillow.

She took a couple deep breaths to settle her nerves and sort through the amazingly sexy memories from the night before. She didn’t want to walk out with a cheesy smile on her face. He made her feel like a teenager with a crush and she was undecided on how she felt about it.

In the kitchen Noah sat at the long table in nothing but sweatpants and was writing in his notebook. She wondered what he wrote in that thing and how fast he’d fly through them at the pace he was writing.

“Morning,” she said, adjusting her shirt over her thighs and pulling her hair over her shoulder. He glanced up, gently sweeping along her body until he met her gaze.

“Morning.” He had on an easy smile that twisted up Cora’s insides. Flashes of the previous night hit her in multiple places, sparking her sex drive again.

She poured herself a coffee and leaned on the counter sipping it trying to ignore the tingling in her thighs and the throbbing between them. Noah leaned back in his chair exposing every gorgeous angle of him, and Cora couldn’t shut down her brain, or her body. She didn’t know why she was trying to suppress her lust for him. What they started last night was only half done. He got to have her, but she was yet to have him.

Noah tapped his pen on the table and then snapped shut his notebook. “You know, I was thinking. You need to have a house-warming party.”

Cora didn’t care what words were coming out of his mouth. She’d already zeroed in and was on her way to the table. She set her coffee down and mused at his obliviousness to her.

She slid up onto the table just in front of him, and he stopped talking abruptly. Realization lit up his eyes.

“It feels pretty warm in here to me,” she teased, putting one foot on either side of him very aware that she wasn’t wearing any underwear. He breathed out an awed curse and put his hands on his head.

“I’m listening,” he said with a raised brow and cocky grin. She saw the hardened bulge push against his sweatpants and she wanted it. In her hand, in her mouth, in her. She wanted him.

Cora reached for him and he didn’t resist as she pulled him in for a kiss. He ran his hands up her thighs until he was at her hips and then in a quick move he had her off the table and in his lap.

She kissed him again, wrapping her arms around his neck and shifted her hips so she could feel him through the fabric of his pants. She left his mouth and kissed along his jaw until she reached his ear. “I think we need to finish what we started.
