But you should also have the appropriate survival materials, such as a blanket, fire starter, compass, and medical tools in case you get hurt. This is a small survival emergency kit that you should keep in your bag. It doesn’t have to be something big, but it does help make the problems much more manageable, and you’ll be able to survive the night a whole lot easier. Having the right gear is how you’re going to survive period, and it’s something that anyone who is keen on surviving in harsh conditions should have, because it will make things even better.
