Clean Rat Traps

These are amazing at catching squirrel and other small game. Use the large traps and they will catch larger game also. I can not say enough about these handy traps. You can set these in the morning and check them 2 times a day. This makes hunting easy as it is being done for you while you handle other pressing matters to survive. Make sure to tie the traps to a tree or your prey might get a free hat.

Guitar Strings For Hunting

Save old guitar strings or pick up a pack for your survival bag. You can feed the string back through the open hole on the other end of the string. This makes a very effective snare for small game. I have made snares for years and you would be hard pressed to make a more perfect snare than a guitar string.

Tip: Snaring animals is not legal everywhere. I do not like to do it unless it is for survival. If you run the risk of starving to death in the woods or breaking a law to survive, I think will have to break that law. I need to eat.
