Instructions:

Whisk the cream cheese with powdered sugar till combined well. Add mocha coffee. Combine well. Fold in the whipped topping till combined.

Soak brownies in the iced mocha coffee. Place 2 or 3 pieces at bottom of serving glasses. Top with mocha cream. Repeat till all pieces of brownies and all cream has been used.

Place in refrigerator to chill for an hour or longer. Serve.

16 – Crinkled Chocolate Cookies

The first time I made these cookies, the neighborhood children gobbled them down quite quickly. They’re easily mixed and baked, though, so I made more for a scheduled potluck dinner. They were a hit there, too.

Makes 3 & 1/2 dozen Servings

Cooking + Prep Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients:

2 cups chocolate chips, semisweet

2 tbsp. unsalted butter, softened

2 room temperature egg whites from large eggs

1 cup sugar, granulated

1 & 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract, pure

1 & 1/2 tsp. baking powder

1 & 1/2 cups flour, all-purpose

1/4 tsp. salt, kosher

1/4 cup water, filtered

1/2 cup sugar, powdered
