Turning quickly, I find him right behind me with Bandit standing next to him. “What the fuck are y’all doing here?” DJ asks.

“Prospect called and told us of the shopping trip. We wanna make sure she gets whatever she wants,” Bandit replies. When I look again, I see the other men behind them, grins splitting their faces wide open. Someone find me a sandpit, I need to disappear...quickly.

“See anything you want, gorgeous?” Hatch asks DJ. She’s so fucking bold, she walks over to another display and picks up something and hands it to him. His eyes grow wide and he responds, “Really?”

“Yeah, kinda wanna see what little miss is gonna experience,” she replies. Please, God, let the floor open up and swallow me whole.

“Not happening, khaleesi,” Bandit whispers in my ear. Dammit, I’m spewing my thoughts once again. Fucking tequila. Maybe alcohol and I aren’t a good match made in heaven.

“C’mon, doll, we’ve got you,” Smokey says, leading me away to another display. But not before he gets the biggest tube of the numbing cream. I watch the other old ladies as their men claim them then walk around the store picking up items. Really? Is this my life now? Deciding to go with the flow, I hold onto the hand that Smokey has held out.
