“I’m going to assume you know that cowboy?” Amy said with equal parts confusion and amusement.

Shock barreled through Keely as she stared at the path security had taken when they’d hauled Sawyer Black off a moment or two ago. It wasn’t possible. He couldn’t be here. He couldn’t have found her! She placed her fingers over her lips and tried to remember how to breathe. Sawyer was here. He’d seen her. Dressed as she was. Paddle in hand. Watching a woman get spanked on a stage in a fancy BDSM club. How the hell had he thought to come here?

Unless he’d been here before.

Keely felt a hand on her shoulder, heard Amy whisper near her ear, “You okay, doll?”

She just shook her head dumbly. Maybe she should leave, pretend she was never in here. Act confused and maybe even a little insulted when he accused her of it back home? Her heart sank into her gut. But what if he told someone? Her brother? Her parents? Dammit, she didn’t want to feel ashamed of being here, but then again, it wasn’t something she wanted advertised, either.

She turned to Amy, knew that her eyes were practically burning with the gravity of the situation. “I need to find him. Talk to him.”

The woman looked concerned. “Why, Keely? I have to say, he seemed totally out of control. Possessive in the extreme. And while that has its appeal at certain times, it’s not welcome or tolerated in the Playhouse.”

“I know. I get that completely,” Keely assured her. “It’s just he’s family, if you know what I mean. If he went back home and started blabbing…I’m not ready for that. Not yet.” Her eyes lifted and moved around the enormous space. “Where would they take him? Do you think they kicked him out?”

Amy snorted. “Probably not. Guests who get kicked out are usually the ones who attempt to break the privacy rules. Security is tight here, and ruthless when it comes to bringing in cellphones, cameras, that kind of thing. But a moment of jealously…I don’t think so. They’ll want to talk to him, of course. See if what happened between the two of you was part of some type of play, or if he’s just a run-of-the-mill hothead.”

Oh God. “Where would they take him?”

Amy cocked her head to the side and studied Keely. “You sure you want to deal with that?”

“Yes.”

The woman sighed. “Fine. Come with me.”

Keely followed closely behind her. She couldn’t believe this was happening. Couldn’t believe he’d actually come after her—and found her. They were headed for the back of the club and a dark wood door when two women dressed in tuxedos blocked their path.

Amy wasn’t fazed. “Did they bring the cowboy in there?”

One of the women nodded at her, but the other wouldn’t even meet her gaze. Amy’s interesting and strange power within the Playhouse was both intriguing and helpful.

“We need to see him,” she said, her tone so cool, so authoritative, it made Keely stand up a little straighter.
