That evening, I made my way to the other side of Oyster Cove. Not the Swamp side, but the one that was closer to the highway that I took to get here. I was still within walking distance from the bungalow, but only barely as I made my way down a street with very small houses. I was looking for a specific number, and I found it occupying the corner lot at the very end of the street.
It wasnât the best looking house, and I winced when I saw the missing siding and the grass, which was way too long for my liking. I was beginning to wonder just what I said yes to when I started walking up to the front door. There was a sign on the front door saying to go around to the back door, which I found to be just as strange as the rest of the experience so far. So, I followed the path around until I came to the back door and knocked on it.
As soon as I did it, I panicked because I hadnât given much thought to what I was going to say when the door opened.
Hey, Iâm Nick, and Iâm an omega, so touch my hand so you can shift into your fish form or whatever. And if that doesnât work, why donât you lay on your back and let me go to work?
Okay, I could definitely come up with something better than that, but as I waited at the door, I searched Fionaâs text for a name.
And it was then that I realized that she didnât give me a name. I could hear footsteps approaching the door on the other side, but I didnât have the name of the girl I was supposed to meet.
âShit, shit, shit,â I mumbled, not knowing what to do when I heard the door pull open.
âNick! Gosh, itâs so nice to see you again!â
To my utter amazement, I already knew her name. It was none other than Cora, the waitress from Salâs Seafood Bonanza standing in front of me. She looked just as great as I remembered too, with her blonde hair straight and flowing and her brown eyes glistening with excitement.
âCora!â I said. âWow, I didnât know you lived here.â
Cora giggled. âWell, who else did you think it was going to be? Not too many Coras in this town.â
âCora with a C,â I said, making her snap her fingers.
âYou remembered!â
She looked positively thrilled about that, so much so that she pulled me inside. âCome in, come in! Itâs way too sticky hot to be standing outside right now! Thanks for coming to the back door by the way. The front one is busted right now!â
I followed her inside, where I could get the first look at what she was wearing. The temperature wasnât the only thing that was hot today. Cora was downright steaming. She had on a black pair of yoga pants that showed just about every inch and curve of her legs, including her magnificent ass.
