Chapter 12 - Soraya

After all the disrespectfulness from Meshach, I was done. The hell with his ass! He threatened to take my son after Camilla took his heart. Fuck him! He wouldn’t be shit without me. After being patted down, searched, and going through a metal detector, I was walking into the huge visitor’s area as I spotted my brother. He smiled upon seeing me as I approached him.

“Break it up. No touching,” the guard said as we quickly ended our hug. Sitting down at the circular table, I placed my hands on the table, interlocking my fingers.

“How are you sis?” He asked.

“I’m okay. I’ve been waiting for you to call. Why haven’t you?”

“Shit has been crazy in here,” he said, glancing around.

“I hate that you’re in here, but I have something to tell you.”

He leaned forward and glanced around before he replied, “What?”

“Mama is alive,” I said with a smile.

“Don’t bullshit me,” he said, not believing me.

“I’m serious! It was on the news. I haven’t been able to reach her though. She hasn’t been home.”

“When was this?” He asked with his jaws twitching. Reiterating when I first saw the breaking news report, Bizarre was furious.

“Are you fuckin’ kidding me? I killed that nigga Trevor, sitting in jail, got nigga’s on my back and shit when Trevor was telling the truth. FUCK!” He shouted, slamming his fist onto the table.

“Warning!” The guard shouted. Bizarre threw his hands up to let the guard know that he apologized.

“I can’t believe this shit. I need to find out what happened. Can you do that? Can you locate mama and see what she knows.”

“I’ll try and do my best. So far, the news hasn’t reported any suspects. I think she’s scared."

“Fuck that! I need to know who did it and if it’s the two nigga’s that I’m beefing with, we’re going to have a fuckin’ huge issue,” he said under his breath, careful not to talk too loud.

“Meshach is the father of Mikey,” I lied. “I know the guys you’re beefing with,” I blurted out.

“Wait!” Bizarre said staring at me as if I had two heads. “You know the nigga?” Dropping my head, I nodded it slowly to answer yes.

“Soraya! The fuck would you keep this shit from me for? Is that what you wanted to tell me when you last came to visit me?”

“Yes. I helped put Trevor in jail so Meshach could get his name out in the streets but that nigga decided to fuck with this new bitch and he’s ultimately pushed me to the curb. I’m chilling with this nigga named Diesel now.” Bizarre laughed menacingly.

“You’re chilling with the nigga whose brother I murked.” Shaking my head, this was all too much.

“I’m pregnant by him,” I confessed.

“Get the fuck out!” Bizarre said disturbed.

“I’m serious. Everything is a mess,” I said with tears silently flowing down my face. “I wanted Meshach but he doesn’t want me. Meshach wants Camilla. Diesel is only fun, and yeah, we have a good time, but he was always with Camilla.
