Xavier and Devon left me half asleep in bed on Sunday morning. Our first full day in lockdown and already I could hear the bickering coming from downstairs. I stayed upstairs, gratefully receiving hand delivered coffee and toasted sandwiches from Xavier.

“You okay?” He kicked the door closed, an apologetic smile when nothing could silence the voices from downstairs.

“I’m fine. What about you? I mean, we went from one-night stand to living together without really dating.” I was only half joking. Who the hell would expect a hook-up to turn into a lockdown?
