TECHNIQUE TWO-

Dip string in the glue and arrange it on a block of wood.

Let dry.

Press the string design into a pan of paint and then onto paper. Make several prints.

Re-paint the design and print again if desired. Dry.

VARIATIONS

Make wrapping paper by printing on butcher paper or white wrapping tissue.

Create borders on a bulletin board.

Press the block of string into an ink pad, food coloring, or other color medium instead of paint.

Experiment with other materials that can be wrapped around a block of wood or glued to its surface for printing.
