We got to the hospital and they brought Davina in. I told them I was her fiancé when they asked who I was. They asked if I needed any attention but I declined. It was just my face that was fucked. I was sure it was a scary sight but still there was no way they were fucking keeping her from me. They brought her back to do whatever it was they had to do. Most likely a blood transfusion because of how much blood she lost, and hopefully they would be able to fix whatever damage the bullet made. It was only half an hour when the doctor came out to talk to me.

“Well, sir, it looks like your fiancé was extremely lucky. It appears she has isolated dextrocardia. This means she was born with her heart on the right side of her body as opposed to the left. The bullet went straight through and it didn’t hit anything vital. She needed some blood but she is going to be fine. I did however notice all of the cuts on her body. Is there something we should know?” I went to answer but then I heard Snake's voice cut through all the noise.

“Nothing you need to worry about, doc. Thanks for taking care of our girl. Is she going to be moved to a room?” I couldn’t fucking breathe. Everything else blurred out and I was pretty sure I might have passed out because the next thing I knew I was outside standing on the side of the building with Snake in front of me.

“Declan, I need you to breathe son. I know this is a lot but your woman is fine. Grinder has Jax tied up. Everything is over. Davina is going to be fine. They are going to keep her overnight just to make sure she is okay with the blood transfusion and make sure her body doesn’t reject it. I know you have been through a lot but you need to hold it together. Your woman needs you and she will have a room soon. Why don’t we get you back in there?” He asked but demanded in the same tone when something occurred to me.

“How the fuck did y’all get here so fast?” He just laughed at me and pushed me towards the doors. When I got inside I realized most of my brothers were here, along with Stana and Riley. Shit. I didn’t realize everyone except for Knuckles, the probates, and the kids were here. Fuck, it was so good to see my sisters. When everything finally came out, neither of them were pissed with the outcome, just wished they’d known sooner. I held onto them tighter then what was probably healthy but them being here meant everything. My woman was going to need them after this. When I went to hug Riley I realized that her belly had gotten bigger.

“Damn, little woman. Look at that peanut growing. How far along are you now? Almost three months?” I asked, generally curious.
