NOT A DAY GOES BY

I remember meeting her, it was in 1999. I had finished my first year on the job working for the state. I would always see her at lunch on Fridays when a couple of us from the job would walk over to the market for an extended lunch. She would always be seated across from our table no matter where we would sit.

I’m telling you, she was the most gorgeous woman I had ever seen. It seemed that she never walked, but glided. Man, I would tell my friends about her. Everyone would encourage me to just say something to her.
