For once the bunnies’ worries weren’t imaginary ones. Rain could destroy their castle and their homes, too. That would be terrible!

“How can we help?” Aphrodite asked.

Persephone snapped her fingers. “Our goddess powers! Hestia told us to experiment with them to learn how they work, remember? I’ll try to do a stop-the-rain spell.” She thought for a minute, then waved the tip of her magic cane in a circle and chanted:

“Rain, rain, go away.

Bring the sun back out to play!”

But her spell didn’t work. Instead, wind began to whoosh inside the castle walls, blowing their hair and dresses. Clouds appeared overhead. Oh no! It seemed to Persephone that she’d only made things worse!
