On Monday morning, before going to school, I’m surprised to see a text from Rob, asking whether I have time to meet him at his house. He wants to discuss a filming opportunity with me. I didn’t think he was serious when he mentioned the possibility at his children’s birthday party that day. I type in my availability right away, but before I hit send, I hesitate. From what I’ve learned from Naomi and Gabby, the man is a jackass and the films he produces are mostly porn. Do I really want to work for him? I delete the message instead and type another one, not wanting to burn the bridge. I thank him for the opportunity and let him know I’m currently working on a project.
