Setting Up Request Settings

As the next step, you can optionally set up the request settings, which control the manner in which the self-service users can make requests for a PDB service. These help you further control the self-service nature of the cloud.

Click Request Settings in the left pane to see the screen shown in Figure 4-14 .

You can specify the number of days in advance the self-service user can make a request, when archived requests will be automatically deleted, and the maximum duration for which the requests can be made. We have selected No Restriction for all the settings.

Service Instance Approval and Service Instance Sharing can also be enabled. You can also move to the Role Settings tab and assign different settings to different roles.
