Jamie was starting the coffee maker for the day when the door to the downstairs bathroom opened. Usually, it was Steve, so without a second thought, Jamie turned around to ask him if he wanted coffee, but it only took half a second before he realized that the person staring back at him from the bathroom doorway was, in fact, not Steve.

It was the pretty girl from the drawing. The one Steve was falling for. Jordyn.

Jamie grinned at her and hitched his hip against the counter. “Morning, Sweetheart.”

“Hi.” Jordyn cleared her throat and yanked down at the shirt she was wearing. It was Steve’s and covered enough, but it still rode high on her hips, and Jamie raised an eyebrow, seeing a glimpse of pink underwear. Steve hadn’t been lying about her ass.

“Sorry.” She blushed as her fingers twisted in the excess material of the t-shirt.

“Sorry? This is the best good morning I’ve had since we moved in here.” Jamie laughed and turned back to the coffee maker. “You want some coffee?” he asked her.

“Please,” Jordyn answered. Jamie gave her a thumbs up and added extra water to the coffee pot.

“Sleep well?” he asked her over his shoulder.

She sidled towards Steve’s door and smiled brightly. “You have no idea.”

Jamie nodded, turning back to look at her while the coffee brewed. “You’re the first one he’s brought home,” he said, watching her face.

“What?” She stopped in front of Steve’s door and looked at Jamie in surprise.

“Steve’s never brought a woman home. Ever.” Jamie leaned back against the counter. “You’re special.”

“Really?” Jordyn wrapped her arms around herself, looking over the moon at the news.

“Really,” he told her with a smile.

A beat passed, and they both started to speak again when the bedroom door opened interrupting them. “Doll?” Steve called, poking his head out. His eyes went between Jordyn and Jamie, taking in the scene—his best friend grinning like mad and his girlfriend blushing, wearing nothing but his shirt.

“Morning,” Jamie said, giving Steve a salute in greeting.

Steve rolled his eyes at his friend when he saw Jamie raise an eyebrow and look pointedly at Jordyn’s bare legs. “Eyes on her face, jerk,” he said, drawing Jordyn behind him and back into his bedroom.

“You weren’t kidding!” Jamie called to him through the closed door with a laugh.

“Sorry about him,” Steve said, kissing Jordyn’s forehead, his hands on her waist.

“Jamie doesn’t bother me.” Jordyn smiled up at him, still thrilled at what the other man had told her.

“He should. He’s downright lecherous,” Steve said, but his tone was teasing. His hands worked their way past the hem of the shirt she was wearing. “I'm going to need to get longer shirts if you’re gonna be wearing them around here, sweetheart.”

“It’s your own fault. You wear size smediums,” Jordyn said with a shake of her head.

“What?” He laughed, looking down at the shirt she was wearing. “I do not. What the heck is a smedium?”

“You do. It’s a wonder the seams haven’t ripped around the biceps.And smedium is a size that's not quite a small or a medium—a smedium.
