Chapter 7

“So why didn’t you inform me that Dayjari and Lauren were coming?” Rose asked Camio as they were coming from her doctor’s appointment. Everything was going smoothly Rose was going on nine weeks. It was like Deja Vu to Camio because it seems like not too long ago he and Rose was in the same predicament. Gender didn’t really play a big role Rose and Camio just wanted a healthy baby, but a part of Rose did want a girl.

“Spare of the moment type of thing” Camio replied. Rose just looked away without saying a word. Camio spoke up again asking what Rose plans were for the day. She replied “Well we could get Cj from Kiyah’s then meet up with Lauren and Dayjari.”

Camio nodded going into the direction of Kiyah and Brian’s place. Rose had to also keep in mind that both Lauren and Dayjari were going to be in town. Cj pulled in the driveway and rose an eyebrow. Brian's place was really nice. The two of them got out and made their way towards the front door. The door was open, but the screen door wasn't, it was locked and Cj was trying his best to open it. Cj’s eyes lit up and the sight of his parents. He truly missed them, but he did have fun with Kiyah.

Kiyah came smiling as she watched Cj struggle. She went ahead and opened it for him. The moment it became open he sprung into his father’s arms leaving Kiayh and Rose nothing to do but ‘awh’ at the site. They all walked into the house as Rose and Kiyah began to talk.

“So how was he today?” Rose asked.

“Welll…. he was fine. Cj is always good.” Kiyah said.

“Really?” Rose asked surprised. She couldn’t believe the words that were coming out of Kiyah’s mouth.

"Yes, Rose really. He's a good baby which is why I don't mind keeping him." Kiyah explained.

Rose sighed, “Okay” and grabbed his bag that was sitting on the coffee table. “What are your plans later on today?” Rose asked Kiyah.

“Ummmmm Brian and I were going to go to the movies. Other than that a girl is free” Kiyah said.

After conversing a little more, they were all in the car heading back home.

Soon, both Rose, Camio met up with Lauren and Dayjari at some random gas station. “My babyyyyy," Lauren said as she jumped out the car running. Rose had a big ass smile spreaded upon her face, soon she opened her arms up.

“The hell?” Rose exclaimed as she noticed Lauren went right past her to Cj. Cj tugged on the straps of his car seat as an indication for someone to let him out and of course Lauren did it.

“Hey cuzzo," Dayjari said giving Rose a warm hug. Dayjari then spoke to Camio and they dapped each other up.

"How are you liking L.A., my nigga?" Dayjari then asked Camio.

“Shitttt, I feel like I could live here.” Camio said and Dayjari smirked, nodding his head agreeing because he wants to leave in L.
