Nearly time to go back to being Jade Lam.

Before they left, they had some time to walk around the island and appreciate the scenery. As she took in the surroundings of Capri, she felt overwhelmed by its beauty.

During the long ferry ride to Naples, where they would catch their respective flights, they went out to the deck and leaned against the railing.

“See this! Isn’t it breathtaking?” She gestured with her arm to the rugged coastline, crystal-clear waters, and the charming seaside towns. “This is like a postcard.”

“It sure is beautiful.” Shadow Shot paused. “Is this it? Will I see you again?”

Olivia’s eyes continued scanning the view. The warm Mediterranean sunbathed everything in a golden light, and the scent of sea salt and fresh lemons filled the air. She was grateful for the opportunity to experience such natural beauty, even if it was while working on a mission.

Finally, she turned to Shadow Shot, shrugged. “In our line of work, you never know.”
