The port of Styx stank like fish, exhaust, and man sweat. Medusa hated going down there at the best of times, but in summer, it was the actual worst. ARGOS had three shipping warehouses in Styx and more in Athens, and Medusa was wondering if she shouldn't have been so reluctant to wipe Serpentine's competition off the face of Greece forever.

Get Dany first, then think about how you're going to destroy them. Medusa looked up from the laptop on her knees to Perseus sitting on the other side of the van next to Erebus. If he weren't such an intrinsic part of their plan, Medusa would've locked him in the penthouse until it was all over. The last thing she needed was to worry about him getting shot. She shouldn't have been down there either.

Medusa never got her hands dirty, preferring to watch from cameras on the other side of the city. No, Pithos had made it personal enough that she wanted blood on her claws and an outlet for all the rage she was feeling. It wasn't all she was feeling. If Asterion and Ariadne hadn't interrupted them hours beforehand, Medusa couldn't imagine what would have happened. You know exactly what would've happened, Medusa. The insecure part of her wondered if Perseus would be half as keen to get her naked once they got Dany back.

"Hey, Susa, you with us?" Thanatos asked, beside her.

"Yes, just thinking about if there is a better way to do this," she replied.

"I know the risks, Medusa, I've walked into bigger traps than this," Perseus said.

"And that's supposed to comfort me?"

"Oh, Susa, since when did you give a shit about a human? They won't kill him on sight, they need too much stuff out of him. Just relax," Erebus groaned as he slid a holster of guns over his shoulders.

"Sun's down. If we are going to do this, we do it now," Charon said from the driver seat. "Asterion and Ariadne are in position, and we can't wait around forever."

"Right, see you on the other side," Perseus replied and climbed out of the truck, white box in hand.

"Don't get your ass shot," Medusa snapped.

Perseus grinned. "Worry about your own ass, gorgeous. It's worth more than mine." He was gone within seconds, moving between the stacked shipping containers, heading for the ARGOS warehouse.

"He's right, you know, maybe you should sit this one out," said Erebus.

"Fuck off and get going before I decide to turn you into stone instead." Erebus laughed like a hyena, and he and Thanatos went to get into position.

"Don't let them get on your tits too much. I think it's nice that you care about the thief," said Charon.

Medusa laughed. "You big softie."

"He's genuinely into you, Medusa. That's rare for old monsters like us. Don't let the opportunity pass you by," replied Charon before lighting up a cigarette.
